NAIROBI, Kenya, May 24 – Gor Mahia are the 2025-26 Football Kenya Federation (FKF) Premier League champions thanks to a favour handed to them by APS Bomet, who beat AFC Leopards 2-1 at the Kericho Green Stadium on Sunday.
The shocking result meant Gor won the title with two games to spare, since they occupy the top spot on 68 points, four ahead of AFC Leopards, who have only one game left.
K’Ogalo are yet to play Mara Sugar and Nairobi United.
The development meant that Gor Mahia, who are the 2015 SOYA men’s Sports Team of the year, reclaimed the title from Kenya Police FC.
